No, there is no such thing as a tip that ONLY puts out 10 GPM. Same goes for 5 GPM, 12 GPM, or 20 GPM. All tips are sized by the amount of Gallons Per Acre desired X desired speed (in mph) X tip spacing (in inches) / 5,940

Wet boom: The nozzle body clamps directly on the actual boom/pipe, and liquid goes through the boom/pipe. Dry boom: Clamps secure the nozzle body to the boom and liquid goes through the hose.

Most mesh sizing now will either be indicated on the screen itself or with a color. You can check out the color code in the Sprayer Specialties Catalog under “strainers”.

Hose is measured in I.D. or Inside Diameter. Tubing is measured in O.D. or Outside Diameter.

The most flexible suction hose we stock is the Enforcer (black) hose. This hose is very durable and will last.

Ball valves typically have 3 wires and only use power to open and close.
Solenoids typically have 2 wires and use power all the time.

John Deere sprayers come standard with Hypro nozzle bodies and Hypro tips. This does not mean these are the ONLY components that can be used/replaced on the sprayer. TeeJet can act as a direct replacement for nozzle bodies and tips.
Disclaimer: must take into account the model year of the John Deere sprayer. Newer John Deere sprayers have specific nozzle bodies.

Electric ball valves will last much longer than solenoid valves. The price reflects it when paying for the electric ball valves, but it is worth it in the long run.

Tip colors are universal. Green-1.5, yellow-2, blue-3, etc.

There are none. Depending on your application there are going to be only 2-3 choices. You may need 3 tips during the spraying season. Consult your chemical representative for best options.

We suggest that you should, yes. Solenoids tend to last far less time than ball valves. Solenoids use contact draw. Ball valves only use power when they are opened or closed.

Ball valves only use voltage to turn on and off. Solenoids need constant voltage to keep open and stay shut.

Depends on the gallonage and chemicals you have put through them. We suggest a catch test.

There should be a tag or label attached. If not, measure the inlet and outlet and look for any cast impressions for the brand.

Measure the INSIDE diameter in inches.

Measure OUTSIDE diameter in inches.

If leaking near the weep hole, the seals are probably worn out/have been pushed out (overspun) or the pump has been ran dry (lack of liquid in housing). If leaking from the housing holes, the chemical has probably eaten at the housing.

It means you have run the pump without any liquid feeding the pump or flowing through the pump. Lack of liquid in the housing.

Most times it only takes a few seconds. Silicon carbide seals are slightly more tolerant, still only measured in seconds.

Strainer colors are universal (blue-50, yellow-80, etc.)

We suggest connecting directly from the pump to the fully charged battery or one connected to an alternator. Do not use a manifold or alligator clamps, it will starve the pump for amps.
