Wet boom: The nozzle body clamps directly on the actual boom/pipe, and liquid goes through the boom/pipe. Dry boom: Clamps secure the nozzle body to the boom and liquid goes through the hose.
The most flexible suction hose we stock is the Enforcer (black) hose. This hose is very durable and will last.
Ball valves typically have 3 wires and only use power to open and close.
Solenoids typically have 2 wires and use power all the time.

We suggest that you should, yes. Solenoids tend to last far less time than ball valves. Solenoids use contact draw. Ball valves only use power when they are opened or closed.
It means you have run the pump without any liquid feeding the pump or flowing through the pump. Lack of liquid in the housing.
Most times it only takes a few seconds. Silicon carbide seals are slightly more tolerant, still only measured in seconds.
